In most cases, shipments/packages reach your location without issue. However, if any problems arise, we kindly request that you follow specific guidelines when inspecting your packages.
Pre-Delivery: If you're unavailable to sign for or inspect the delivery and authorize the freight company to leave the order without a signature, please be aware that KB Improvement cannot be held responsible for any damages or missing pieces.
Upon Delivery: Upon arrival, verify that the pallet/piece count on the delivery receipt matches what you're supposed to receive. If any pieces are missing, note this on the delivery receipt before signing. For instance, you may write, "Received 3 of 4 pieces." Please promptly contact us at (512)555-5555 to report any missing pallets/pieces. We'll work with the carrier to locate or replace the missing items.
Immediately inspect for visible damages, such as crumpled box corners, holes/punctures, or broken pallets, which may indicate internal damage. If you notice any visible external damage, REFUSE DELIVERY OF THE ENTIRE ORDER. Do not accept a partial order if any item is damaged. Note any damages to the packaging or contents on the delivery receipt by explicitly writing "Damaged."
If there's no visible external damage, sign for and accept your freight. Please note that drivers won't wait for you to inspect for concealed damage.
After accepting your order, promptly open and inspect it for CONCEALED DAMAGE. You have 48 hours to email us damage photos at kbimprovementcontact@gmail.com . You may call us at (512) 555-5555 to report any concealed damage, but only after we've received the corresponding photos. Please have your order number ready.
